Tibet – Expedition that Changes Outlook on Life

Have you ever wondered why on earth you are here? You know, your purpose in life? Why you actually exist on this planet? These are probably the most subtle, yet profound, questions that I asked myself every day and I could bet you there’s probably as many different answers to these questions as the people asking them.

Instead of conferring myself again and again the 101 ways of failing, I went Tibet to start this summer. Yes, I know, you’ve heard it before: happiness can be found. Yes, it is, and luckily I learn to unveil it during the expedition. You can actually override what you were originally taught, which is to play along with the rest of the world and become upset or unhappy because things are not perfect. This is what I have in mind after regaining inner peace amidst the Tibetan tranquillity.

Alright, I’m not saying always have a deluded smile and treat everyone equally nicely (people will think you’re crazy) but instead stay calm and positive whilst dealing with situations that need your devotion. Spend time with the people that add to your life and lift you up. Begin to notice how you feel around others. Seek for the feelings that have been long-lost and carry them onto rest of your life.

One of the most phenomenal things you can do in life, in my opinion, is to find your purpose. I found mine, and it is what drives me, what wakes me up in the morning and what gives me energy. I have a staunch belief that it will lead to what I wish for a meaningful life. Can I follow it through and live it?
